Following design, we will concentrate on manufacturing and testing in our lab, which is equipped with the most up-to-date equipment to ensure quality gains. 全新保時捷 GT4 ePerformance在英格蘭南部舉辦的速度嘉年華（Festival of Speed）上首次公開展示其性能實力，在長達1.9公里的Goodwood莊園爬山賽道上全力奔馳，為其世界巡迴展揭開序幕。接下來的兩年中，這款創新的測試車將在德國及其它地區巡迴，向客戶賽車隊、合作夥伴和賽車界的決策者們展現頂尖概念車的潛力，和相關賽事的各種可能性。

GT4 ePerformance搭載了許多來自Mission R概念車的科技。該概念車於2021年慕尼黑車展 IAA Mobility首度公開，描繪未來純電動GT賽車以客戶車隊參賽的願景，兩款車輛都採用久經考驗的718 GT4 Clubsport底盤打造。電動馬達和電池技術完全來自同樣的概念車，在資格認證模式下，最大輸出功率高達1,088 PS（800kW）。在模擬賽測試中，該動力系統可維持30分鐘以上的穩定輸出612 PS（450 kW），相當於一場Carrera Cup賽事的總時間長。GT4 ePerformance的單圈時間和極速性能，足以與當今992世代的911 GT3 Cup匹敵。得益於900伏特電壓技術，電池以全功率充電，僅需約15分鐘就能將電量從 5% 增加至 80%。

保時捷為GT4 ePerformance重新設計約6,000個零組件。在設計師Grant Larsson的帶領下，Porsche Style旗下的一個團隊打造出這款車的外觀。車體由天然纖維複合材料製成，在生產過程中產生的碳排放量比同類型合成材料更少，另外，在測試研發階段則使用回收再製的碳纖維。得益於其加寬的葉子鈑，這輛賽車比718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport寬14公分，為更寬的18吋Michelin賽車胎提供更多空間，該輪胎採用可再生原料的比例也相當高。

GT4 ePerformance攜手七個合作夥伴展開世界巡迴展演，所有參與企業皆將這場巡迴視為與保時捷賽車進一步合作推動永續發展的舞台。首次加入專案的全球物流服務領導品牌DB Schenker，將提供永續運輸服務。長期合作夥伴 ExxonMobil透過Mobil品牌，參與賽車冷卻劑和潤滑油領域的共同研發。

保時捷的計時合作夥伴瑞士豪華手錶製造商TAG Heuer，贊助包括該專案在內的多個保時捷賽車專案。Michelin作為保時捷賽車運動的長期技術合作夥伴， 為GT4 ePerformance開發出極耐用的賽車輪胎。而時尚品牌Hugo Boss負責提供車隊官方服飾，運動品牌Puma將負責車手和技師的防火服，車隊工具則由Hazet擔任官方供應商。
